Folding Knives

With a blade about 3 to 5 inches in length the folding pocket knife is great for many different uses.  You can use it to cut small rope or twine, or even carve up and apple.  The nail-nick is older way of opening a folding knife but in recent days the thumb stud became the better way to get the knives into the open position.  Also most pocket knives lock in to the open position when some knives use a spring to stay open. In many places in the world pocket knives can be illegal for the fact that even the smallest knives can become a weapon. It is allways a good idea to check your local goverment office for there laws on the folding pocket knife.
